How I solve IT problems (Even though I'm not an IT guy)

I thought this fitted rather well. I get asked to fix IT things all the time, which is odd because I'm not an IT guy. For a while, I thought it was just because I spent so much time on a computer but maybe it's because I search the answer for nearly everything after 5 mins of not knowing what to do.
